Hoya is a genus of tropical plant in the Apocynaceae family. Also known as "Waxvine" or "Waxflower," Hoya australis is a climber that has shiny thick green ovate leaves on twisting stalks. White and pink waxy star-shaped flowers appear in clusters at the tips of spurs, or peduncles. The more sun it gets, the better the chance that you'll be graced with its blooms. 'Lisa' exhibits wonderful yellow to pink coloration on its leaves which show greater intensity with more sunlight.
